Description

Groundnut Oil Cake / De-Oiled Cake (DOC)

Introduction

Groundnut Oil Cake is the solid residual material obtained after the mechanical extraction of oil from groundnuts. De-Oiled Cake (DOC) is the by-product left after solvent extraction from expeller cake. Both are nutrient-rich and widely used in the animal feed industry.

Description

Groundnut Cake and DOC are excellent sources of protein and fiber, making them ideal for cattle feed, poultry feed, and organic fertilizer production. While expeller cake retains more residual oil (6–8%), DOC is low in oil (≤1%) but higher in protein.
